About me
I am a post-doctoral research associate at Purdue University, where I work on a federally funded project to increase access for underrepresented gifted students to STEM programs. I am also a research associate at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development. My research interests include increasing access to above-level programs for underrepresented students, fostering social-emotional skills for gifted students, and looking at the impact of technology on gifted education. I am the co-author of Integrating Social and Emotional Learning with Content: Using Picture Books for Differentiated Teaching in K-3 Classrooms (Routledge, 2022) and the forthcoming Integrating Social and Emotional Learning with Content: Using Graphic Texts for Differentiated Teaching in Grades 3-5 (Routledge, 2024).
